UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation. 

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the full recruitment life cycle in technical hiring. This includes end-to-end recruitment , volume hiring, stakeholder management and vendor management. You will also be responsible to support the business strategy including developing a comprehensive recruitment strategy, diversity sourcing, attraction, selection, interview/assessment, review requirements with stakeholders and offer processes. You will partner closely with the Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.

 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the entire recruitment team 
  • Manpower planning and budgeting that is agreeable with the stakeholders
  • Develop and gain agreement to an overall manpower plan including budgeting for the organization which sets out the human resources requirements to staff the organization.
  • Ensuring the weekly hiring target is met
  • Address any hiring matters raised by the recruitment team
  • Identify fulfilment channels (e.g., agencies, career website, job boards, Linkedin, employee referral)
  • Planning of hiring pipeline and analyse sourcing strategy including the data on sourcing channel effectiveness
  • Run weekly service agency review include analyse agency performance pipeline and support weekly agency cadences & individual tracker maintenance
  • Monitor and track candidate status across the hiring process
  • Analyse recruitment metrics and SLA on daily basis to identify interventions and monitor execution/closure of related actions (e.g. daily tracking of advance pipeline, pipeline movement from KL to SG to offering stage)
  • Identify areas of improvements in recruitment team and implement changes to optimize the recruitment team
  • Build employer branding as part of the talent acquisition process.
     

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Significant executive level end-to-end recruitment experience to include: developing & executing sourcing strategies, managing candidate relationships for current and future job opportunities, developing compensation packages for multi-level candidates/deal negotiation
  • At least 6 years’ experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology recruitment
  • Experience in sourcing and recruiting talent internationally; across cultural, language, legislative and geographical boundaries.
