About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Head and provide guidance to team members
  • Manage and enhance existing customer relationship with group exposure less than RM 5 mil and/or annual turnover more than RM 30 mil under commercial banking portfolio
  • Attend to customer requests
  • Provide advice and service to meet customers’ needs
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Branch Managers to manage customers together
  • Ensure Bank’s risk parameters and guidelines are adhered to
  • Market and sell the Bank's loan products to new and existing customers
  • Analyse, evaluate and recommend loan applications and ad-hoc requests within the Bank's risk parameters and guidelines
  • Monitoring customers’ performance to minimise non-performing loan ratio
  • Closely monitoring annual review status to prevent overdue
  • Conduct analysis on portfolio basis for account wallet sizing to maximum product holdings.

Job Requirements


  • Possess a recognized degree.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Good analytical skills in financial accounts and well-versed in cash flow analysis, independent, self-motivated, resourceful and result-oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Willing to travel/mobile.
