About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of testers to systematically develop system test cases, executing test cases against the requirements, examining and reporting the results, track defects to closure to ensure user and business requirements are met per defined criteria
  • Lead, coordinate, manage and monitor UAT processes
  • Manage and govern end to end testing providing quality assurance
  • Attend regular defect calls and provide testing status and progress update
  • Manage, track & triage defects and issues until closure
  • Review functional specifications and  provide signoff
  • Ensure operational readiness by providing user guide and briefing to system users
  • Provide post implementation support when system goes live
  • Oversee and ensure application parameters setup are carried out with proper control
  • Participate and contribute from operations and systems perspectives and services meetings with business and other stakeholders
  • Identify and initiate improvements in the test processes and execution
  • Provide update and status reporting

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 6 years of experience in functional testing in banking domain
  • Knowledge in banking operations, products, services and technology related to payment and cash management
  • Working knowledge and experience of testing techniques
  • Experience of investigating and discovering system issues and impact to business and operations
  • Ability to evaluate test results against business and operational requirements
  • Good knowledge of SDLC processes (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) and testing methodology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – English is a must, both spoken and written
  • Attention to detail and accuracy. Quality oriented and good problem solving skills
  • Able to work with demanding users and manage stakeholders
  • Coordination and facilitation across diverse working groups. Collaboration and influencing are essential.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Able to work independently and as a team player
  • Practical knowledge on TOSCA testing tools would be an advantage
