About the Department

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to be part of the pioneer team spearheading the development and delivery of the new services.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Tech Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will manage:

  • Talent Sourcing and Acquisition: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage with top tech talent through various channels, including social media, job boards, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. This includes conducting thorough interviews, providing timely feedback, and maintaining open communication.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand their talent needs, craft job descriptions, and develop tailored recruitment plans.
  • Employer Branding: Promote our tech hub's employer brand by showcasing our culture, values, and unique selling points to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make data-informed decisions to optimize the hiring process.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technologies to proactively adjust recruitment strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and the tech talent landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.luent written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in using advanced sourcing techniques to find passive candidates.
  • Ability to leverage data to drive hiring strategies.
