About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities


Vulnerability Management

  • Lead a team to perform monthly vulnerability assessment using in-house VA scan tool; and track identified vulnerabilities with system owners for closure
  • Coordinate with vendor to perform Annual Penetration test and Wireless penetration test; and track the finding with system owners for closure
  • Work closely with Group counterpart to update, report and track VA, PT, PCI items for closure
  • Coordinate with system owner to prepare risk assessment/acceptance to seek for extension for PT and VA findings and present in Management forum


Security Posture Management

  • Technical Subject Matter Expert in System, Network and Infrastructure security
  • Lead a team to prepare periodic security posture review and gap analysis; collect endpoint/infrastructure inventory and reconcile against security tools reports to check which asset is missing which control
  • Recommend areas for self-audit to identify security gaps and spearhead initiative to close the gap.
  • Work with infra and application team to conduct periodic manual and automated security standard/hardening check.
  • Attend to request from users on security exception request, gather details about the request, perform risk assessment and provide technical consultancy whether it can be allowed or not
  • Assist with Auditor/Regulator assessment RFI response and evidence submissions
  • Assist with other areas of security operations where required

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of related working experience. Knowledge of IT security is essential. Industry
  • certifications will be a plus e.g. CCNA, CCIE, CRISC, CISSP, CEH, CISM and CISA.
  • Familiar with Security standards and Exposure in financial institution’s regulatory compliance response preparation and evidence submission (RMIT, PCIDSS, Paynet, MAS and etc)
  • Prior exposure various security tools and security controls (e.g. security intrusion detection (IPS/IDS), DDoS, DLP, APT solutions)
  • Knowledge and experience in network security is a plus
  • Highly result oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to deliver tasks timely in face paced environment.
  • Good leadership qualities and have experience in managing a small team will be a plus
  • Ability to build relationship and interact effectively with internal and external parties. Strong engagement skills with stakeholder management.
  • Good analytical, technical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in applying established techniques, procedures or standards
