About the Department

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities

The Service Introduction Manager is a key strategic role in the Planning function of UOB Innovation Hub 2. He/she will work together with the function head and service delivery/operations team leads to manage and deliver the centre’s multi-year growth aspiration through the set-up of new service capabilities in the centre.

Ultimately, you will be pivotal in supporting growth initiatives through strategic planning, service transition management and stakeholder management.

Primary responsibilities include:

Service Introduction Management

· Create a structured and controlled way of working to establish new service capabilities through the Service Introduction process

· Work with relevant stakeholders (Group, management) to define operational and transition requirements for the new service (e.g, service design, organisation and governance, risk assessment, regulatory approvals, location setup, applications and tools)

· Ensure adequate level of due diligence is conducted to deliver and support the new service

· Identify all risks and issues that could have an impact on implementation or service performance and drive discussions and mitigation

· Agree the success criteria and monitor results through regular reporting to management

· Ensure the implementation and transition to BAU plans for new services are agreed and communicated to key stakeholders across service delivery/operations

Job Requirements

 

- Minimum 9 – 12 years of experience in enterprise strategic planning, organisation-wide performance management and/or service level management.

· Excellent communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills to positively influence people to make the appropriate decisions and resolve conflicts effectively.

· Performance-driven balanced with proven success of working effectively in a cross-functional team in an international environment.

· Process-oriented and possesses a strategic mindset with the ability to have a holistic view.

· Ability to deliver and articulate a presentation confidently and effectively to a wider project committee and management.

· Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise with changing situations.

· Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

· Relevant experience in the financial services industry, particularly in technology and banking operations, is advantageous.

 

EDUCATION

· Degrees from any recognised University or recognised establishment (Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field will be beneficial)
