UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior application Maintenance/Production support professional to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and providing support for critical applications. Your technical expertise along with best practices will be instrumental in delivering fully functional software that meets schedule and requirements.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provide Level 3 (L3) support for critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with the primary product vendor to address and implement application fixes, enhancements, and updates.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recuring issues and work proactively to prevent future occurrences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the open systems.
- Work closely with cross functional teams, including development, testing, and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless application support.
Job Requirements
- At least 6 years of Delivery, Project, Stakeholder & Vendor Management experience, team management.
- Experience in Application maintenance /production support with a focus on Level 2 or Level 3 support.
- Hands-on experience on Mainframe, Cardlink/VisionPlus.
- Hands-on experience in Cobol, CICS, JCL.
- Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation.
- Good understanding and experience in software development cycle.
- Good to have knowledge on Devops tool like Endevor, File-Aid, Abend-Aid, Expediter.
- Must have knowledge on Advanced CICS expertise and experienced in API or MQ.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain; Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous.
Required Technical Skills:
- Platform / Product: Mainframe, Cardlink/VisionPlus.
- Server / Database : VSAM.
- Language : Cobol, CICS, JCL.
- OS : Mainframe ZOS.
