About the Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for administrating and executing HR initiatives or activities relating to our employees' compensation, rewards, perks and benefits. Your hands-on involvement will give you ample opportunities to acquire a solid foundation of HR principles and understand how they are applied in daily HR operations. By interacting with internal and external parties from different locations, you will support C&B as well as HR team to improve performance, engagement and satisfaction of our employees.
Other responsibilities include:
- To support the business in driving strategic HR initiatives
- Drive the annual exercises like annual merit review, annual bonus review etc.
- Administer employee’s benefits programs and policies (e.g. employee health and wellness programs, insurance policies, etc.)
- Keep abreast with updates in government regulations, legislation and compensation and benefits trends. Ensure that compensation and benefits practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Support the job evaluations and classifications process (Job level, Job Description, compensation databased);
- Participate in annual salary survey to collect and compile data for market benchmarking and analysis.
- Support in data preparation and conduct internal analysis for input in compensation strategy to maintain competitiveness.
- Provide compensation & benefits consultation and support to employees and HR colleagues.
- Respond to periodic and ad-hoc requests including reports. Ensure data integrity at all times.
- Perform job mapping exercise and compensation analysis in the event of merger and acquisition.
- Identify opportunities to increase digital efficiency, review and provide feedback to the team on intra/inter-team data transfer process for the systems in place.
- Ensure all payroll and incentive processes on completed in a timely manner and in compliance with PDPA guidelines.
- Salary proposal review
- Assist in annual operating plan & budgeting (AOP Budget)
- Participate in projects as needed.
Job Requirements
- Recognized degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Candidate who has payroll analyst/data management background or at least 5 years’ experience in a C&B role and interested to learn and grow in the Global C&B profession.
- Prior relevant compensation and benefits experience and knowledge in HR system will be added advantage.
- Meticulous, excellent attention to details, analytical capability and can work under pressure.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on MS Excel. Experience in VBA will be added advantage.
- Strong communication skills with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Open-minded and willing to take challenges in a multi-tasking and multi-national work environment
- Strong team player with initiative and good project management skills.
- Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations
- Fluent written and spoken English.
