About the Department

UOB Private Bank is a leading Asian asset manager with award-winning investment expertise in fixed income and equities. Headquartered in Singapore, we offer global investment management expertise to individuals, institutions and corporations from a regional network spanning Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Japan and beyond. Our comprehensive product suite includes innovative solutions covering retail unit trusts, exchange-traded funds and customised portfolio management services.

Job Responsibilities

  • To assess client’s risk appetite, investment preference and return expectations during joint engagement with sales staffs at client meeting sessions.
  • To produce high quality investment advice / recommendation in products across asset classes (Fixed Income, Foreign exchange, Equity, Alternatives etc.) to sales staffs / clients.
  • Produce weekly investment briefing / recommendation.
  • Provide product training and retooling when needed.
  • Perform analysis on client holdings, investment performance and behaviors.
  • Analyse market development and trend to assist in product development and marketing.
  • To carry team Asset Under Management (AUM) and revenue budget of portfolio including investment products (Unit Trust, Dual Currency Investment, Equity Linked Investment, Structured Investment), asset classes (Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Equity and Alternatives) and deposit (CASA and Fixed Deposit).
  • To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and in particular, report any suspicious activity to relevant unit.
  • To ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and regulatory authorities.
  • To relief investment execution and monitoring team when needed.
  • To assist the Head, Product Solution and Advisory as needed.

Job Requirements

  • A recognised Degree in Finance / Business or any equivalent qualification
  • Possess at least 5 years investment product management, advisory experience or other related working experience.
  • IPPC (or SIDC module 6&7) FIMM licenses.
