About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be part of the Group Credit Policy and Portfolio Management team which manages Personal Financial Services (PFS) portfolios in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing MIS for secured products of Mortgage and Autoloans for Singapore and will also be part of the policy effectiveness tracking and discussions with business. The candidate will work with the secured policy lead.

  • Responsible to perform ad hoc analysis and on-going portfolio review to support secured policy lead on Product Program, policies and business initiatives review.
  • Responsible for regular MIS preparation and tracking of product program performance against their benchmarks.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining bureau strategy for secured products.
  • Responsible for tracking of RDF metrics and other credit segmentation models for secured products for sound portfolio shaping and management.
  • Liaise with different operation units / parties to roll out credit policies as approved, and evaluate their effectiveness over time.
  • Responsible for UAT for credit policy changes for secured products.

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in a retail banking role preferably in a credit risk policy, MIS and portfolio management capacity.
  • Degree holder with background in Business and Finance or Statistics preferred. Other degree holders with working experience in similar roles previously will also be considered.
  • Analytical mind, good communication and presentation skill, meticulous and self-motivated
  • Familiar with portfolio monitoring techniques & tools, SAS programming, Basel Capital Rules and local regulatory landscape regarding retail lending practices.
  • Knowledge on scorecard and Basel II model is preferred.
