About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform credit assessment on all incoming applications
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are complied with 
  • Conduct customer interview when required
  • Conduct site visit with Relationship Managers when required 
  • Work on initiatives / projects involving Business Banking Credit where required
  • Support on portfolio and productivity MIS tracking 
  • Facilitate new or revised credit policy roll outs
  • Perform regular operational risk reviews and reporting
  • Handling Ad-hoc projects or UAT
  • Prepare and analyse performance scorecards of the credit team
  • Prepare performance reports for management and review/improve process flow for Business Banking Credit

Job Requirements

  • A Degree holder with at least 5 years with relevant Sales/Credit experience, preferably in Business Banking segment
  • Analytical mind, meticulous and self-motivated 
  • Good organization skill, operationally & process-minded and good eye for details
  • Strong MIS, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision
  • Good communication, writing and presentation skill
