About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

  • Create and manage project portfolio pipeline based on strategic capability roadmap, taking into account budgetary constraints, resource availability, and opportunities to consolidate common/dependant initiatives
  • Manage pipeline of ideation / pre-project demands across portfolio ensuring matches available resourcing, budget constraints, interdependencies, and aligns to overall roadmap 
  • Work with project/program managers to ensure timely and accurate reporting of in-flight projects and adherence to process assurance gates
  • Create monthly newsletter of key deliveries / showcases across Customer Digital Channels portfolio
  • Prepare consolidated portfolio dashboard for portfolio level Project Steering Committees / governance

Frameworks, process assurance, risk management

  • Work with various stakeholders (Business, Program / Project Managers., Technical Delivery Managers, SDM team) review and propose refinements to the Ways of Working and associated SDM deliverables, in particular optimizing Agile vs Waterfall frameworks
  • Track and manage Risk Appetite statement performance, MRAs, and Audits

Project management

  • Assume the Project Manager for specific projects

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in running a program office ie. PMO
  • Experience in project / program management 
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall practices
  • Experience in working on Digital transformation programs
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
