Job Responsibilities

Under team head supervision, you are expected to develop new analytical models and enhance digitalization processes for internal and external business. The main target of the role is the multi-asset team but responsibilities may expand to covering risk management and product development.

You will collaborate with investment teams to obtain information and data relevant to the active projects, with the Investment Technology and Support Unit (ITSU) and Data and Digital team to understand the state of the relevant processes, keep deadlines for designing and deploying research projects and solutions.  

Your role and work allocation:

  • 50% implementing/coding research solutions,

  • 20% assisting with the client requests for reporting or with investment proposals,

  • 20% liaising with Investment Technology, Risk and Performance, Data & Digital teams.

  • Other duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the digitalization level of investment processes (process integration, reporting capabilities, business intelligence),

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on model or implemented portfolios, including data extraction and results reporting,

  • Create new capabilities for the team in terms of programming, project management (repository, version control, …) and analytical models,

  • Enhance the digitalization level of investment processes (process integration, reporting capabilities, business intelligence),

  • Assist with model portfolio maintenance, improve operational due-diligence, help with portfolio monitoring process,

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

You should have knowledge of:

  • 3-5 years of programming experience with practical outcomes (i.e. projects completed in a certain time frame, not necessarily finance)

Professional level of programming/coding experience (either of/ a set of):

  • Programming packages (R, Python)

  • Object oriented (compiled) C#, C++

  • Relational data-base (SQL, NoSQL, …)

Basic knowledge of statistics and stochastics.

Basic knowledge of portfolio construction methodologies, investment value chain (optional).

 

You should be able to:

  • Exhibit excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Read, interpret and analyze all operation related documents.

  • Attention to detail, while understanding the big picture.

  • Organize, manage and track concomitantly multiple tasks and assignments.

  • Able to work independently as well as part of the team.
