About the Department

The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

 

Corporate Real Estate Services

We manage and administer matters relating to real estate on behalf of the Group. These include lease management, facilities management, as well as security and general service matters.

Job Responsibilities

The role of senior officer is accountable to department VP in UOB Group Security, which comes under Group Corporate Real Estate Singapore. He will be responsible for the day to day security-related administrative and operational tasks, and render support to assigned project works.

Scope of work assigned will be from a combination of the followings:

  • Manpower Management - Responsible in planning and control of work schedule/ roster for In-house security team. Ensure the manpower deployment by partnering security agency is as per contractual agreement, and coordinate for provision of adhoc manpower services for security coverage. The scope of work also entails the validation of security personnel’s skills and knowledge competency (both in-house and partnered security agency) and operational readiness.

 

  • Events Management - Supports department VP to co-ordinate on security arrangement for events/ activities that involves the bank or state authority;

 

  • System Management - Coordinate and monitor rectification & maintenance works related to respective security system functionality, and ensure it is managed in accordance to contractual agreement;

 

  • Invoices Management - Verify and process the payment of services, and ensure it is in alignment with contractual agreement;

 

  • Incident Management - Ensure security-related incident, or any matters managed by FCC, are effectively & efficiently managed in accordance to standard operating procedures (SOP);

 

  • Logistic and Administrative Management - Manage & process staff’s on-boarding and off-boarding in accordance to the Bank’s policy and requirement; Administrate on carpark related matters which includes processing of season and adhoc parking payment arrangement;

 

  • Project Management - Supports department VP in coordinating and monitoring project-related assignment;

 

  • Any other security-related tasks as assigned by UOB Group Security.

Job Requirements

This appointment is equivalent to that of senior operation executive level in security industry.

 

  • Able operate independently, and possess strong organization skills with problem-solving attitude. He/ she needs to have a proactive mindset, diligent in his dealings at work, and able collaborate effectively with stakeholder and communicate fluently (both written and spoken) in English.

 

  • Experience in handling manpower and security services contract is preferred. He/ she will be required to support security-related projects.

 

  • IT savvy, and having intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft office applications (in particular, Microsoft EXCEL, WORDS and Power point presentation). He/ she has to be meticulous in administrative works, and with ability to diligently keep track/ present on assignment status.
