About the Department

UOB’s Human Resources team embarked on a major transformation journey in 2018. Since then the team has launched several award-winning people programs across the group in several countries. Technology is a key enabler in any transformation. With this aim we are now completely revamping the HR technology landscape at UOB. We started first by repurposing and reskilling HR technology team (Digital HR) as a strategic team. The team has been trained on human centered design and process reengineering and is currently implementing some of the best cloud-based technologies for HCM, Manpower planning, Data Analytics, Chat bots, Performance management, etc.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with Human Resources system users to develop and translate business needs into functional requirements
  • Provides first level support and responds to human resource systems related queries from Human Resources, Managers and Employees
  • Assist Human Resources users with technical issues related to the human resource systems by investigating problems and developing detailed suggestions for resolution
  • Provides transactional support including responding to data correction requests; mass data updates in response to business changes/requirements
  • Create and build reports as needed in human resource systems for all modules
  • Maintains and monitors support cases logged with Human resource systems vendor <SuccessFactors; Workday> Customer Support
  • Participate in requirements gathering and review, create and executes test plans, test remediation plans, test scenarios/scripts with expected outcomes; and system configurations for half yearly cloud releases
  • Maintain user procedures, guidelines, and business processes documentation on system enhancements
  • Ensures data integrity and system security
  • Conducts quality assurance of system functionality and customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in human resource systems implementation and support, including cloud-based solution  
  • Preferred: Technical experience in SuccessFactors Learning/Recruit; Workday HCM/Absence & Time tracking/Compensation/Advance Compensation/Talent Management/Perform/Security
  • Understand project life cycle and Technology development models
  • Knowledge of business process reengineering will be desirable
  • Effective listening skills and strong communicator
  • Ability to operate under a face-paced work environment.
  • Passionate, diligent individual with ability to thrive in ambiguity

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information systems/engineering/ business/ finance or equivalent
