About the Department

The Global Market function leverages our in-depth knowledge of markets to provide timely financial advice, products and solutions to our clients. Together with our segment managers, we manage our clients’ investment, liability and risk management needs through a comprehensive suite of treasury products and services across multiple asset classes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working with Front Office users to understand the business needs for real-time trading and risk management, involving systems meant for electronic dealing, algorithmic trading, commercial FX sales, client internet platforms, etc
  • Translating new Front Office requirements into proper Business Requirements Documents
  • Working with Technology to participate in system design, user acceptance test, and troubleshooting and ensuring that new Front Office platform needs are being met in any implementation
  • Presenting and sharing knowledge to all downstream users for new product rollouts
  • Working with Operations, Risk, Finance divisions and other Business Management teams to create a seamless end-to-end process covering all aspects of the trade life cycle
  • Communicating regular with Front Office on implementation activities that requires their attention
  • Investigating and resolving issues raised by Front Office relating to trading systems and work processes
  • Collaborating with vendor to resolve system issues, addressing issues effectively and timely
  • Training proper use of front office platforms
  • Managing user queries on functional, system, or processes and ensuring all cases are logged, closed or worked upon appropriately
  • Documentaing processes
  • Meeting tight deadlines and schedules

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Computer Science, Technology and relevant discipline from reputable institutions
  • Technologically savvy with a strong interest in new technology
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in front office support or middle office role
  • Good knowledge of Treasury Products
  • Basic knowledge of Treasury workflow
  • Knowledge of FX electronic trading platforms such as Reuters RET-AD, 360T is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Good user relationship management
  • End-user focused and empathy
