About the Department

Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) encompass a range of services relating to property management across the Bank's global footprint. This include acquiring, maintaining, enhancing and disposing of real estate throughout the lifecycle of a property.


Leveraging our deep expertise in developing and managing a diversified asset base, CRES focus on enhancing the performance of our portfolio and strengthening our customer experience to deliver long-term sustainable value to both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leveraging on UOB’s real estate service provider, to work with a team of estate mangers and external brokers to manage a large and diverse regional portfolio of owned and leased assets. 
  • Responsible for developing and refining the overall end to end delivery of lease management model across the local and regional portfolio in line with UOB Real estate policy and relevant authorities
  • Act as the go to individual for all lease management transaction activities across UOB’s diverse portfolio. 
  • Provide support to UOB business unit to develop strategic retail network distribution plan with the objective to optimize rental and real estate value.
  • Formulate and implement marketing, leasing plans and go-to market strategy for UOB lease out portfolio, this will include negotiating on rental and lease terms for new and renewal leases.
  • Develop and maintain “tenant stickiness” initiatives for our current building occupants.
  • Work with CRES finance department on rental arrears matters, property tax and financial reconciliation work (if any)
  • Preparation of the overall annual budgetary exercise, including management of financials on rental expenses and income.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Real Estate Management or related discipline and with Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)  or Masters of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) qualifications will be an added advantage
  • Min 12-15 years of relevant experience working for corporate landlords and/or financial institutions
  • Possess strong stakeholder engagement skills; exposure to senior management / C-suite will be added advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, influence and negotiation skills
