About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

Secretarial support to the Risk and Capital (RCC) Committee

  • To assist to organise the RCC meetings, in coordination with the respective presenters
  • To proactively follow up on the actions points in the RCC meeting minutes
  • Effective coordination with the secretariat to the Board Risk Management Committee (BRMC) and Board on any risk related matters
  • Involved in the coordinateion of the monthly risk reports for RCC as well as quarterly risk reports for BRMC and Board


Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP)

  • To assist to develop and maintain the information required by MAS for resolution planning purposes.
  • To ensure that the resolution planning information is in line with regulatory requirements
  • To coordinate information requests from MAS


BCBS 239

  • To conduct annual review and maintenance of the BAU Target Operating Model with close collaboration with respective owners to ensure timely updates of relevant processes, systems and Critical Risk Measures
  • To review and maintain the Group Risk Reporting Framework

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder preferably in Finance/ Business/ Accountancy/ Economics or other related disciplines
  • With at least 8-10 years of relevant banking experience
  • Meticulous and good team player
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to engage multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment
