About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibility is to provide Japanese corporate client coverage across business units, sectors and countries within the Bank, with an emphasis on business development.

This position requires an experienced relationship manager capable of driving business independently. The incumbent should have proven track record in the Japanese corporate banking business and the ability to manage complex deals whilst orchestrating internal resource. He/she is also expected to call on C-Suites for business acquisition and relationship management.

Job Requirements
  • Extensive experience and strong performance track record in Japanese outbound corporate banking business.
  • Strong knowledge in risk management, regulatory compliance and KYC.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Fluent in Japanese in all aspects.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be adaptable to business environment changes and be able to work under pressure and deliver within timelines.
  • Business travel requirement is to be expected.
