About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

 

Business Banking

We develop integrated products and services targeted at helping small and medium-sized enterprises across the region progress through different stages of growth. These include innovative solutions and initiatives in areas of working capital loans, operational efficiency and currency exposure.

Job Responsibilities

    •  

 

  • Responsible for the productivity of the Business Banking Sales team to achieve an optimal sales rhythm.
  • Analysing sales performance independent from the sales leaders to provide performance gaps analysis as well as good sales performance.
  • Ensuring the sales rhythm (Sales Operating Rhythm) is in accordance with the BBway (internal process to achieve sales rhythm) needed to achieve the business objective of the Sales team's productivity.
  • Planning activities and leads for both new and existing customers to be followed up by the BB Sales team.
  • Looking for marketing opportunities for Business Banking products by implementing appropriate sales scripts for customers.
  • Assisting the Sales Team for problems related to productivity faced, for example, lack of leads, not many referrals.
  • Provide input/insight to the Head Office team i.e. Product/Portfolio Team to improve policy/portfolio actions that can support BB Sales improvement.
  • Evaluating and coaching the Sales Team that is lacking (Zero Club, IMP).

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years banking experience preferably in the front line capacity
  • A proven stint in data analysis preferably in sales
  • Strong analytical skills with competency in data crunching and use of Excel
  • Knowledge in the field of Credit (especially SME credit)
  • The ability to think critically and structured, especially to find the root of the problem and find a solution
