About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility and ownership of the overall implementation through a comprehensive and consultative approach which requires the associate to recognise, evaluate and act upon those opportunities for additional collaboration or to improve client satisfaction
  • Should have the skill, ability, experience and confidence to navigate the bank and business partners to ensure implementation tasks and client on-boarding are completed on time
  • Participate in client management and Sales/RFP opportunities on complex working capital management solutions
  • Responsible for resolution of client requests/enquiries, leveraging resources across other functional areas to enhance client experience
  • Manage and ensure client enquires from voice and email channels are responded on timely manner
  • Participate in client planning to position and deliver the full range of client service channels as part of the overall client relationship
  • Proactively provide advice on the usage of transactional banking products and services to clients
  • Understand the end-to-end processes and utilizes professional judgement in determining appropriate resolution of client needs within the risk and compliance parameters
  • Identifying training needs for clients and ensuring that clients are well aware of the product/service capabilities and the benefits to them
  • Ensure full compliance of all applicable regulations, AML policies when carrying out job duties as stipulated

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business related subjects
  • At least 3-5 of experience in either client facing role in wholesale/investment banking environment, or role handling client onboarding, preferably in the fields of banking and finance
  • A client-focus and servicing mindset
  • Familiar with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint applications
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and a team player
  • Strong multi-tasking, and be able to work under pressure independently
