About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

Provides general administration support to the Division, such as office maintenance, inventory tracking/ purchases, budget and training matters, and management reporting.

  • Handle office maintenance
  • Plan, prepare and monitor division budget
  • Handle inventory tracking/ purchases
  • Prepare and submit management reports
  • Ad hoc administrative duties

 

Operations Risk & Control

  • Disseminate news and updates on policies, guidelines & procedures to all staff in the Division.
  • Perform on Division’s self-assessment. E.g. KRCSA, GOCEQ, AML CSA.
  • Prepare and review operations and risk management reports, and audit findings.
  • Perform peer review on UOB overseas Branches.
  • Conduct regular Control meeting within Division and UOB Subsidiaries.
  • Ensure timely resolution and implementation of corrective controls on operational matters (Incident Report Form).
  • Perform verification and updates to Division’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Coordinate Business Contingency Plan updates and to conduct contingency drills/ exercises.
  • Handle ad hoc requests related to risk and controls areas.
