About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge and expertise in IFRS 9 methodologies and approaches.
  • Execution of IFRS 9 production parameters update across Non-retail portfolios
  • Support Simulation runs and stress test execution (ECLs) for ICAAP and IWST
  • Systems support initiatives by defining user-requirements and conducting UAT
  • Stakeholder management includes discussions with Finance, business and credit teams to explain variances

 

Job Requirements

  • University graduate or post-graduate with major in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or other quantitative discipline
  • Relevant experience in areas IFRS9 Financial Reporting or Credit Risk management
  • Good in MS Excel / Access / programming skills (i.e. Python) and Experience working with large and complex datasets
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • High level of communication, writing and presentation skills
