The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group

Job Responsibilities

 

To assist GPFS Business Finance Head, leading team of analysts, in providing financial and business analysis, drive performance, establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for regional countries (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam) 

 

  • Partner and work directly with regional countries PFS Head, product teams and business finance on their budgeting and monthly forecast, key stakeholder in driving performance of regional PFS franchise. This includes the enlarged franchise with Citi acquired portfolio. 
  • Perform quality analysis, track and monitor margins, volumes, productivity, headcount, cost initiatives and non-financial KPIs
  • Track and identify opportunities and risk management across regional countries and managing P&L on regional basis.
  • Support with high quality country dashboard, providing both product and segment view to drive performance
  • Work closely with PFS Heads to review, build and validate budget and strategic targets, designing models to track and simulate engines of growth and initiatives across countries
  • Prepare and attend joint business review with PFS Head in the countries
  • MAS ICAAP Stress test review and validation
  • Guide and review countries’ business cases of projects and transformation programs 
  • Governance and controls over all financial and accounting matters, ensuring consistency across countries
  • Develop and train cohesive team, build bench strength 

Job Requirements

 

  • A recognized university degree in Finance/Business or its equivalent.  Accounting background preferred. 
  • At least 12-15 years of relevant working experience in performance management role; able to consolidate MIS in clear, actionable and timely manner 
  • Experience in Consumer business of Bank is preferred. 
  • building and maintaining in-house performance dashboard for all financial and non-financial information for products, segments and geography
  • Must have good understanding of funds transfer pricing and products business drivers
  • Familiar with usage of reporting tool such as Power BI, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle and skilled in Microsoft applications
  • Experience in creation and aligning cost center, GL and product hierarchy 
  • Meticulous, analytical and pro-active in solving problems
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently as well as leading teams
  • Able to present recommendations with clarity and conviction to meet business goals. 
  • Driven and energetic individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of organization
