About the Department
The Channels & Digitalization function enables end-to-end seamless connectivity for UOB customers across all physical and digital touchpoints of the Bank. Designed to be in tune with our customers’ banking preferences, we strive to enhance engagement and deliver exemplary experiences across our network of branches, self-service machines and digital platforms. We collaborate with FinTech ecosystem partners to keep abreast of developments in the FinTech innovation space and to embed ourselves in our customers’ lives. We also harness customer insights to help us deliver new business models and digital innovations, and to build deeper relationships with our customers.
Group Channels - Singapore Privilege Banking Branch
You represent the face of UOB Privilege Banking and will be the first point of contact with our High-Net-Worth clients as they walk into our Privilege Banking Centres. Empowered to create a differentiated and memorable service experience to all our valued clients, you need to be conversant in both products and operations processes and have the passion to serve. You are expected to assume ownership of our client’s needs, provide innovative solutions, and create a meaningful experience to help the bank build long lasting relationships with our High-Net-Worth clients
Job Responsibilities
- Attentive to client queries and requests related to banking transactions.
- Actively offer advisory solutions to meet client's needs.
- Be proactive to resolve service issues to escalate to manager if unresolved.
- Identify growth opportunities to value-add our clients via sales leads and referrals.
- Exercise vigilance when performing duties and highlight unusual and suspicious transactions
- Constantly support and participate in Bank's ongoing campaigns and programmes.
- Comply with established operational control and audit procedures and maintain a high standard of housekeeping at branch.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in any discipline
- At least 3 years of client servicing experience, preferably in Banking & Finance or Service-Oriented industry
- Knowledge of Banking products and operations preferred
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills
- Mature and sensitive to deal with confidential client -related issues
- Ability to identify potential client issues, generate proactive solutions and strong follow up skills
- Positive, proactive, and responsible
- Team player who possesses drive, initiative and able to work independently under pressure and keen to take up new challenges
