About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

The position is within the GMET Private Bank Development Team and we are seeking a Senior Test Environment Support.  The Senior Test Environment Support is responsible for supporting various test environment activities including environment build, upgrade, deployment, end of day batch execution and BAU support to projects.

 

The candidate must have a strong command of infrastructure & middleware technology used in the market. He or she should be able to organise and drive technical discussion working with vendors and various stakeholders.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with and support Project / Program Managers to define environment requirement in the planning phase and setup environment based on the requirement
  • Support SIT/UAT environment issues and provide regular update to stakeholders. 
  • Work with project team to setup end of day batch and monitor batch execution
  • Provide regular communications to stakeholders on environment status and incident update
  • Manage testing environment tech refresh, Infra End of Life and Vendor support for supported applications 
  • Maintain a central knowledge base for key operating procedure and ensure it is regularly reviewed
  • Continuously review test environment availability and key operating procedure for improvement opportunities

Job Requirements

The successful candidate is expected to have:

  • 8+ years production & test environment support experience with very good hands-on skill on Unix/Linux/Oracle/IBM WebSphere/MQ.
  • Experience of banking projects implementation particularly in Open systems (Unix/Linux) for environment setup
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery 
  • Ability to work independently and excellent problem solving skills is a must 
  • Trade Finance / FSCM / Documentary Trade IT System knowledge will be an advantage
  • Experience communicating with technical stakeholders
  • Very good problem solving and analytical skills

  • Database: Oracle 12c or above. Expert in: SQL, PL/SQL, MViews and related toolsets
  • Messaging: IBM MQ / JMS / SFTP / IBM ConnectDirect 
  • Single Sign on technologies such as iSprint
  • Scheduling: Control-M, Quartz
  • JIRA, Bit-Bucket, Maven, Artifactory, ALDON, Jenkins
  • Code Quality: SonarCube, Vera Code
  • Change / Incident Management: Remedy, Aldon LME
  • Monitoring/APM Tools: Geneos, BMC Patrol
