About the Department

Relationship Management (Commercial Banking) is responsible for strengthening the firm's relationships with existing accounts, and driving continuous service improvements with ultimate focus on business retention. Develops the strategy, processes, and delivery measurement for service among all functional areas responsible for delivering to clients. Commercial Banking covers activities related to the development, origination, and management of banking loan products, advice, and trade financing for institutions with mid-high range revenues. Responsible for providing banking loan services and auxiliary products (e.g., letters of credit) to Institutions.

Corporate & Commercial Banking covers activities related to providing banking loan products and advice to institutions ranging from small to mid-sized businesses, to the largest corporations. Includes major market middle market corporate banking, business banking, and corporate and transaction banking.

Job Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for acquiring new customers by prospecting and developing customer relationships within a defined geographical territory or business segment. You will be accountable for meeting sales targets, growing market share and achieving productivity standards set for your team.

• Prospect for new customers in a professional and polished manner
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and follow-up
• Identify customer needs and cross sell other banking products as appropriate
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in our CRM system
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience preferably in financial services industry
• Experience working in a fast paced, goal oriented environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
