About the Department

UOB Private Bank
is dedicated to managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals with investment assets of$5million and above. Keeping in mind our clients’ financial objectives, we provide tailored products and solutions that draw on the Group’s comprehensive suite of personal, business and investment services.

Job Responsibilities

• Validate client’s instructions that are related to Cash transactions e.g, Telegraphic Transfer,Internal Transfer, Fixed Deposit
• Ensure that control processes such as signature verification, necessary approval are obtainedaccording to the authority grid and first level call back are properly performed before sending thetransactions to Operations by cutoff times.
• Perform independent call back to validate the authenticity of client’s instruction
• Manage exception handlings by closely engaging Front Office, Risk Management and ProductManagement to ensure that they are processed within policy parameters and acceptable riskappetite.
• Act as a single contact point for any enquires or clarification between Front Office/Back Office
• Follow up with Operations for any discrepancies
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned periodically

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Banking & Finance
• Minimum 4 years working experience in financial institution
• Co-ordinating role requiring high degree of communication
• Requires great flexibility and versatility – should be able to simultaneously manage severaldifferent issues / queries in addition to daily processing related co-ordination
• Independent Self Starter able to take charge of the role, initiate reviews, escalate in a timelymanner based on independent assessment & analysis
• Committed and conscientious personality, to take ownership and responsibility to ensure complete follow-through to problem solving
