About the Department
Credit Portfolio Management (Business Banking) is responsible for monitoring the portfolio quality against established criteria, and recommending adjustments to existing credit facilities as appropriate to minimize or hedge risk, or optimize portfolio performance.
Job Responsibilities
As a Portfolio Monitoring Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in the pre-emptive monitoring, supporting early intervention to minimize credit losses and EL optimization. Your work directly contributes to stronger portfolio health:
Trigger Monitoring, Mailbox Management & Review Coordination
- Monitor accounts triggered for review based on Risk Monitoring Framework and upload them into the system for tracking and assignment
- Track review status and ensure timely follow-up and completion
- Manage the team’s shared mailbox, respond to or redirect inquiries, and ensure review triggered received via email are acted on promptly
Data Analytics & Trend reporting
- Provide data analytics support to identify trends, early warning signals, and portfolio risk insights
- Generate dashboards or summaries for management and relevant stakeholders
- Assess & review the effectiveness of preemptive triggers embedded in Risk Monitoring Framework for early identification of high-risk accounts prior to delinquency
- Implement and monitor effective risk management tools to improve data-based credit decision for reviews
Risk Reporting & Audit Preparation
- Consolidate data and prepare reports for internal reviews, management updates, and audit requirements
- Work with Campaign Management to advise area of potential higher risk to enhance targeting criteria
- Engage Product teams in areas of new business initiatives development

- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate information and form logical conclusions
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines consistently, and proactively identify and implement process improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate risk-related information and insights to diverse stakeholders
- Foundation understanding of credit risk management principles and regulatory requirements
