About the Department

The Human Resources function balances organisational aspirations and employee needs, as we accelerate and strengthen people capabilities to enable sustainable business growth at UOB. Our team of Human Resources specialists are guided by four employee commitments: do what is right, build meaningful careers, make a real difference and lead by positive example.

Our team provides a myriad of employee services to other functional HR teams and business units in the bank. Our services cover the entire employee lifecycle including areas such as onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, absence and payroll management, international mobility, career advisory as well as risk and compliance management in relation to these HR services and activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Meet/greet visitors to the facility, answer questions and direct them to the appropriate individuals/department and meeting rooms or Guest Gallery
  • Serve Beverages to the guests (if app)
  • Assess needs of callers and refer them to the appropriate HR personnel 
  • Coordinate the booking of meeting rooms as and when required
  • Updating of interview schedules into the HR Manager/s via excel/UOB HR system
  • Booking of meeting rooms for interviews and meetings
  • Assist in ad hoc HR admin related duties and Adhoc projects as when assigned.
  • Provide ad hoc admin support to the Talent Acquisition team

  • Coordinate with external recruitment agencies to manage the hiring process for temporary employees.
  • Address issues or queries raised by contingent workers, agencies and hiring managers
  • Engage with stakeholders on the hiring process and address their queries.
  • Make necessary adjustments to processes as needed.
  • Organizes and participates in job intake calls with sourcers to discuss the requirements and expectations for various roles.
  • Helps align the sourcers with the specific needs of the hiring managers.

Job Requirements

 

  • Pleasant personality with a good command of English
  • Strong in coordination and multi-tasking skills
  • Proactive, resilient and highly-adaptable, you should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Presentable and able to communicate professionally and effectively to line managers, staff, vendors and candidates of all levels. 
  • Fast learner and proficient in Microsoft office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
