About the Department

The Human Resources function balances organisational aspirations and employee needs, as we accelerate and strengthen people capabilities to enable sustainable business growth at UOB. Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with HR functions to advise them on process optimization using technology
  • Manages human resource department and organizational needs for human resource systems, with an emphasis on the technical components of business needs.
  • Manages the digital HR team to support of human resource information systems, data management & reporting.
  • Manages full life cycle HR technology projects and the associated project planning.
  • Recommends system design and configuration approaches to best meet current and future strategic human capital management delivery.
  • Researches costs and vendors and manages the RFP and contract renewal processes.
  • Maintains systems to ensure continued operations and reporting efficiency and resolves software issues.
  • Ensures data integrity, system security, and testing of system changes.
  • Designs and generates queries, reports, and dashboards.
  • Trains stake holders and users on system utilization.
  • Serves as liaison between users, the IT and third parties.
  • Researches new technologies and system solutions and keeps management informed.
  • Implement governance standards across the program, including tracking, monitoring and updating status of the programme deliverables
  • Report project risks and issues proactively with transparency. Identify emerging issues and resolve conflicts within the program
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

Job Requirements

  • Significant experience in managing large cloud-based HR systems.
  • Complete understanding of project life cycle and Technology development models
  • Knowledge to business process reengineering will be desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic forward-thinking approach to challenges with outstanding influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills
  • Passionate, diligent individual with ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Resourceful team player
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into actions that meet business objectives
  • Experience in scoping and evaluation – Defining overall considerations, including scalability, maintainability, cost, operations and technology principal risk to provide a recommendation
  • 2+ years of leading Technology teams and overall experience of 7 to 10 years in HR technology
  • Familiar with implementation of Cloud HCM solutions and Corporate Performance Management Systems will be advantageous
