Job Responsibilities

UOB Asset Management Ltd (UOBAM) is seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Request for Information & Due Diligence (RFI & DDQ) Analyst to join our dynamic Business Service Management team. The RFI / DDQ Analyst will be responsible for request for information and due-diligence requests put forth by clients on an ad-hoc or periodic basis. This is a role that is pivotal to our sales effort and the firm's ongoing obligation to provide best-in-class support to our clients. You will work closely with UOBAM’s sales teams covering requests incoming from our regional, intermediaries and institutional segments. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, you will source relevant information, provide final inputs and maintain records in the document repository for future reference. This role requires someone with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for investment writing with a high demand for accuracy. Being familiar with the application of technology will also improve on the productivity and quality of work produced.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, track and manage all RFI and DDQ requests from start to finish.
  • Keen eye for details and up to date about breadth of UOBAM’s business.
  • Collaborate and coordinate internal teams, external managers / vendors to obtain information and data required in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all information and data collected are properly documented for future ease of reference to aid in subsequent RFIs and DDQs.
  • Identify and improve areas, alongside data and business technology teams to explore new solutions to enhance the throughput and quality of our responses.
     

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Economics or equivalent. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in asset management industry or financial institution.
  • Proficient in utilising large language models and tools to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
  • Strong sense of ownership, time management and stakeholder coordination skills to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent investment writing skills and good knowledge of financial instruments and products, with a strong focus on investment funds. 
  • Ability to generate derived data requested utilising UOBAM's data repository.
  • Proficiency in workplace productivity suite such as MS Excel and MS Word. Scripting knowledge preferred but is optional.
  • Familiar with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, Factset or equivalent tools
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
