About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Handles queries and requests from stakeholders
• Able to multitask well and meet tight deadlines
• Perform status updates, reporting, archiving and any required correspondences to clients
• Able to work from office (no remote working)
• Perform other duties assigned by team lead
• Proactive - Seek Work during free time
• Overtime is required when volume surge or whenever it is required

Job Requirements

• Preferably, 1-2 years of banking operations experience in securities setup and pricing or custody settlement
• Have a good understanding of the characteristics of various security types – equities, bonds, structured notes and unit trust
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Well versed with Microsoft word and excel
• Knowledge of Bloomberg will be an advantage
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Team player and willingness to learn
• Preferably a lean six sigma green belt
• Preferably knows and experienced in VBA macro
• Initiates, drives, and support any change initiatives
