About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily responsibilities include but not limited to the following:Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the various regulator(s).
• Investigate and participate to any remediation issues impacting existing reports.
• Improve current processes, procedures and reports including automation of manual processes.
• Contribute to trade reporting related strategic initiatives.
• Work with Compliance, Technology, Operations group and business units to manage enhancement and issues resolution, if any.
• Provide ongoing assessment and awareness of any changes to the regulatory environment landscape and bank’s adherence to its reporting obligations
• Collaborate with oversea branches and provide oversight on regulatory trade reporting for Korea, EMIR, ASIC.
• Participate in UAT projects and BAU fixes
  
  

Job Requirements

• Recognized Degree in any one or a combination of these specializations – Banking / Finance / Accountancy / Computing
• Minimum 1-3 years Work experience in an operations environment within a financial institution
• Past experience in OTC trade reporting preferred but not necessary.
• Meticulous and strong analytical thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate strategy to execution
• Possess problem solving skills and ability to understand complex workflows
• Strong communication skills and team player, to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders
• Ability to think strategically and contribute to department and division wide initiatives
• Proficient with VBA/Macro is preferred but not necessary
