Data Management Office (DMO) 

 

DMO believes that data is key to responsible innovation, growth, and competitive advantage in the banking industry. Our mission is to leverage our data assets to create value for our customers, stakeholders and employees. We achieve this by defining, and executing to, enterprise data strategies and transformation, delivering valuable and trusted data to the organisation via the most efficient and responsible manner, ensuring robust data governance via strong enforcement, literacy, and management of emerging data risks and data regulatory compliance, as well as bringing Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) solutions to our business stakeholders to drive monetisation of our data assets. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications for data-driven initiatives.
  • Perform comprehensive data investigations and analyses to address inquiries from bank-wide users related to EDAG systems, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of data-related issues.
  • Execute data profiling, gap analysis, and source-to-target mapping to ensure data integrity; proactively identify and resolve data issues, escalating to appropriate parties when necessary
  • Utilize technology-driven solutions to streamline and automate manual workflows, enhancing overall productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Support end-to-end project delivery by facilitating requirements walkthroughs, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), managing defect resolution, conducting ongoing validation, and overseeing rollout activities to ensure successful implementation.
  • Design, develop, and optimize medium to complex SQL queries to support data quality assurance, reconciliation processes, and exception handling activities.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards to support performance monitoring, data visualization, and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Assist in project coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks such as system/process documentation and meeting minutes.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with business and technology stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and successful project delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the banking industry.
  • Proven expertise in business requirement gathering and documentation.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with banking products and operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analytical thinking and problem-solving, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in systems integration, data warehousing, BI tools, and big data platforms; adept at using analytical, query, and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and document data-driven solutions, including architecture, metadata, data dictionaries, and database applications.
  • A proactive team player with strong initiative and a collaborative mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and liaise professionally with external vendors.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and perform effectively under pressure in dynamic, fast-paced environments
