About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.  

Group Wholesale Banking and Market Operations provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.  

Job Responsibilities

1. To process all daily transactions (eg Corporate Loans processing, Limit Implementation etc) in the relevant systems (eg MCL, LES, RBK, SAP etc) in an accurate & timely manner in accordance to the process flows & user procedures.

2. Contribute to the achievement of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and work actively to achieve KORIs. Work actively with Dept Head/Team Lead/officers :-

a) to achieve satisfactory audit review for all daily processes

b) to support new products / services launches of Business Units

c) to meet SLA turnaround time for daily loan/limit implementation processes

d) to ensure compliance of KRCSA and Ops risk controls

3. Operation-related. As a maker, to process :-

a) loan accounts servicing for existing borrowing customers in Multi-Currency Loans System (MCL).

b) loan repayments, redemption, rollovers, restructuring and other loans transactions.

c) loan maintenance input for all loan accounts.

d) entries input in AIM/RBK/SAP/GST systems

e) SWIFT payment messages (ie SWIFT MT103,202 etc)  in AMH /Remittance system.

f) Limit implementation for Loans in Limits Exposure System (LES) and MCL system.

g) Perform daily operational transactions in accordance to established policies and procedures.

h) Check all administrative tasks pertaining to loan operations (eg daily transaction volume statistics, relevant reports from R2W.

i) Assist in maintaining proper record for all archiving of documents and supports

j) other general administrative duties/ad-hoc projects as assigned by immediate supervisor/s

Job Requirements

  • Have Banking experience and mainly experience in Loan Servicing and processing.
  • Able to stretch working hours beyond normal working hours when a need arise.
  • Have good interaction skills with working colleagues
  • Have good computer knowledge, i.e. the use of Microsoft office, excel and ect.
  • Able to think and generate ideas on how to improve process will be an advantage.
