About the Department

The Group Strategic Communications & Brand function works closely with all functions across the Group to protect and to promote the reputation of UOB. Through our thought leadership, stakeholder and community engagement programmes, we ensure that UOB’s presence, relevance, insights and understanding are seen and felt by our colleagues and customers, wherever they are. We also strive to turn our customers into advocates through our consistent and considered approach in delivering reliable and distinctive customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Profile and elevate the group’s position and reputation as a leader in community and social impact through flagship programmes focused on Art, Children and Education.
  • Champion UOB as the leader in Corporate Social Responsibility, including patron of the arts in Asia.
  • Design and drive programmes and initiatives through creative content development, activation and collateral across a range of audience-relevant channels and tactics.
  • Establish a strong network of community partners to multiply the impact of corporate volunteerism and giving.
  • Develop and manage partnership marketing strategy, programme and establish ecosystem of social impact partners.
  • Track and report CSR metrics holistically as part of Sustainability Reporting requirements.
  • Ensure all executions are aligned to the policies and regulations across the region 
  • Engage internal stakeholders, peers and partners to drive programmes, initiatives and campaigns.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience
  • Proven abilities in creative content conceptualisation production in omni-channel marketing, communications and activation
  • Experience in evaluating, building and optimising partnerships successfully
  • Ideas-driven with abilities to implement initiatives successfully
  • Highly-motivated and self-driven individual who possesses a positive and energetic disposition
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Experience in agency and vendor management
  • Collaborative team player with strong project management skills and keen attention to detail
