About the Department

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive business growth in our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) department. This role emphasizes a balance of 60% project management and 40% sales support, ensuring the successful planning and execution of events while enhancing client relationships and driving sales initiatives.
Project Management (60%)
Event Planning and Organization:
• Develop comprehensive event and project plans, including timelines that outline execution, resource management, and delivery.
• Secure necessary resources such as venues, vendors, and personnel to facilitate successful events.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
Operations and Logistics Management:
• Monitor service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Conduct site inspections of venues to assess suitability for events.
• Oversee logistics coordination, including transportation and accommodation arrangements.
Budget Management:
• Prepare budgets and financial proposals, monitoring expenses to ensure adherence to financial targets.
Post-Event Evaluation:
• Conduct evaluations after events to assess success metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Sales Support (40%)
Client Relationship Management:
• Support the Head of MICE
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing personalized solutions tailored to their needs.
• Advise clients on suitable products and services to enhance their experience.
Sales Coordination:
• Prepare compelling sales presentations, proposals, quotes, and other materials in collaboration with internal teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement:
• Update the customer database regularly and provide management with work-inprogress reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with the sales team on marketing initiatives.
Job Requirements
• Tertiary education
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the MICE industry or a similar environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English and Chinese)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service orientation with a passion for the MICE industry.
• Able to work independently and require frequent travelling to overseas to manage events on site.
