About the Department

 

As a second line, the Group Non-Financial Risk Management works closely with all business and support units to provide operational risk management oversight and advisories, as well as promote strong risk awareness culture across our UOB Franchise.

Job Responsibilities

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate to join our Risk Culture & Conduct Risk team. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in driving the risk culture initiatives, formulating strategies and maintaining robust frameworks/ policies to strengthen risk culture and managing conduct risk. You will be responsible for providing clear, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and perform root cause analysis on conduct related cases
  • Provide advisory support on risk culture and conduct risk
  • Prepare and deliver clear, accurate and insightful reports and presentations to senior management
  • Formulate comprehensive strategies and maintain robust frameworks/ policies to strengthen risk culture and effectively manage conduct risk
  • Drive and collaborate closely with stakeholders on risk culture initiatives

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree holder or its equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in risk and control within the banking industry
  • Self-starter with initiative and a strong self-drive to produce high quality work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights
  • Ability to articulate analysis/ concepts effectively through reports and presentations
  • Highly flexible and adaptive to be able to manage varying exigencies at work
