About the Department
The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.
Group Finance
We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Singapore Division Head in providing financial and business analysis, primarily in Secured Loan Products, establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and involve in the monthly financial and annual budget process
- Manage product financials and behavioral analysis of Secured Loans portfolio
- Enhance Financial Models for Loans portfolio
- Projection on Sales Volume, Ending Balances (Pipeline, Attrition) and Spreads (EIR, customer rate by packages)
- Develop and analyze profitability models to guide new product development and customer retention
- Understand Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Customer Pricing
- Quantify the impact on revenue; identifying risks and opportunities
- Evaluate and proposing pricing strategies
- Work with Risk Analytics to optimize on product offering and portfolio profitability and RoRWA
- Expense Monitoring e.g. Commission, A&P, Expense Accrual, and analysis of process cost of mortgage etc.
- Support Monthly Analysis and Forecast of ending balances, spreads and revenues, Annual Budgeting and 5Y yearly ICAAP forecast.
- Prepare financials dashboards for management reporting
- Establis and set up Financial KPIs for performance measurement
- Validate financials in Product Program
- Perform MIS mapping of various Secured Loans Products in Financial System to ensure correct classification and revenue recognition
- Perform Campaign Tracking (Revenue and Expenses)
Job Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or FRM are advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Prior experience with secured loan products (e.g., mortgages, auto loans) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions, pivot tables, and financial modeling).
- Experience with financial systems and tools (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and customer pricing methodologies.
- Knowledge of MIS systems and financial data mapping.
- Ability to develop and interpret profitability models and KPIs.
Analytical & Business Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience in sales volume and balance projections, spread analysis, and revenue forecasting.
- Ability to identify financial risks and opportunities and propose actionable strategies.
- Understanding of product lifecycle management and customer behavior analytics.
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise financial dashboards and reports for senior management.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Risk, Product, and Finance.
