About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

This position is part of the Singapore Banks & NBFIs team within Global Financial Institutions Group. We are looking for a Relationship Manager to drive client relationships and business growth with clients mainly in the Funds and Insurance sectors. You will cover existing and new clients in Singapore and in the region, working with Global Relationship Managers, product partners and key internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of banking solutions and end-to-end deal execution to meet the financial and investment needs of your clients. You will also be responsible for managing the risk aspects of client portfolio including credit reviews, compliance/KYC due diligence for onboarding and periodic reviews, as well as oversee the documentation and operational aspects of the products and services provided.

Job Requirements

•    Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or Banking & Finance 
•    Relevant experience in relationship management or sales to Funds and/or Insurance companies preferred
•    Good understanding of the financial industry and suite of banking products/services to FIG clients including Global Markets, Transaction Banking, Debt Capital Markets and lending.
•    Resourceful individual with strong initiatives and positive attitude who is also a team player
•    Presentable, dynamic, dedicated, self-driven and highly motivated
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
