About the Department
The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.
Group Finance
We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting financial analysis and reporting activities within Transaction Banking business as well as assisting in cost trends analysis and profitability tracking of transaction banking suite of products. The incumbent will also work closely with business stakeholders and other finance teams to ensure accurate financial data and insights are provided for decision making.
(a) Financial Analysis and Planning
- Provide timely and accurate financial performance reports and in-depth financial analysis with insights into the financial performance of the Group Transaction Banking suite of products. Tracking of actual performance against targets and providing insights to the variance.
- Supporting cost management through in-depth cost analysis to provide insights to the driver of the cost allocated / incurred by the business. Supporting business in cost control monitoring and tracking to optimize expenses.
(b) Business Partnering
- Work closely with product and sales teams to provide financial insights that support decision making
- Act as a key finance contact with business stakeholders across the region and other finance teams to facilitate financial reporting related to key business strategic initiative
(c) Support enterprise-wide, business-specific as well as finance-related initiatives including new products.
Job Requirements
- A recognized university degree in Finance/Business or its equivalent. Accounting background preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in banking industry, preferably with experience in Transaction Banking
- Meticulous, analytical and pro-active in solving problems
- A self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in team
- Driven and energetic individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of organization
- Advanced MS Excel Skills, experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting will be an advantage
- Understanding of Trade and Financial Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
