About the Department

The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

 

Corporate Real Estate Services

We manage and administer matters relating to real estate on behalf of the Group. These include lease management, facilities management, as well as security and general service matters.

Job Responsibilities

The Security Manager shall report directly to the Head of Group Security on all matters encompassing or related to physical security in the aspect of systems & technology. In the absences of the Head, the Security Manager shall report to the next higher level of authority on all matters or issues related to physical security. This role is responsible for sourcing, establishing/implementing and managing corporate wide efforts in the areas of physical security systems/tools. Namely in the form of access control, intrusion detection & prevention, close circuit surveillance, securing of perimeter and/or other means of security tools and services. The Security Manager shall consult Head of Group Security on all issues or decision that will affect the overall physical security of the Bank before issuing any instructions. The Security Manager shall ensure that all matter, issues, directions, procedures, guidelines or instructions shall meet or aligned to the Group Physical Security Policy. The Security Manager shall work closely with and support the Business Units in their operational requirements to manage any associated risks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the Bank's physical security policy & guidelines and execution of security operations.
  • Craft specifications for electronic & physical security systems with the intend to roll out tender(s). He should have the capacity to evaluate tender submissions with a mindset to award the best value system. 
  • Work with security team members to streamline the security operations to be in line with the latest security trends as well as deployment of the latest proven security technology.
  • Conduct periodic physical security audits, update Standard Operating Procedures / Manuals and maintain relevant records.
  • Monitor the performance of current security systems and plan for their maintenance and service programs to ensure their functionality and reliability to perform as intended design. The manager shall also plan for system obsolesce with forecast to replacement period and budgeting.
  • Support the planning, implementation and managing of new security systems based on the latest security technology for protection of the organizations human and physical assets. 
  • With the technology already in place, the manager is to assist in the planning and development of emergency procedures and incident responses.
  • Mange outsourced security personnel deployed and ensure that delegated tasks are being carried out professionally. 
  • Work with the various stakeholders in the promulgation of security messages and raising of security awareness.
  • Maintain good relationships with local law enforcement, civil defense and other related government agencies.

Job Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of electronic security systems with the interest to stay current and updated with market trends. Capable of implementing small to large scale system installation and their operation.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and crisis management with at least 10 years in security leadership role.
  • Good people management and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to independently plan and execute security operations, implement security systems, provide sound security advice.
