About the Department

Group Strategic Communications and Brand is responsible for protecting and promoting the UOB brand. Working closely with our stakeholders, we create and execute integrated communications strategies to promote awareness and understanding of the Bank’s approach to supporting its colleagues, customers and the communities in which it operates.

Job Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for site planning, development and maintenance of UOB’s intranet portal.  


You will be an important part of the Internal Communications team to strengthen employee pride through the provision of an engaging, informative and interactive intranet. You will support in the planning, development and management of our intranet, content creation, desktop/mobile publishing, and implementation of all intranet initiatives.


You will also work with stakeholders across the Group, content engineers and agencies to ensure the intranet and its related systems remain a secure and reliable source of information for colleagues across the Group. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create and develop internal campaigns to promote and increase employee engagement and pride through UOB’s intranet; 
  • Refine and develop the use of existing or new internal communications platforms and its related systems; 
  • Governance of intranet processes, job tasks and projects; 
  • Project management for relevant intranet projects and enhancements; 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on content creation and timely publishing of all communication activities on the intranet;
  • Support stakeholders across the Group to create new or update existing pages on the intranet;
  • Plan and oversee projects to upgrade the intranet’s software, features and sites to improve user experience; and
  • Measure and monitor intranet site performance as part of monthly and yearly reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in marketing or a related field
  • Experience in Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams and its related systems
  • Knowledge of logic and programming an advantage
  • Familiarity with website development, desktop/mobile publishing, and site maintenance 
  • Possess a good understanding on latest trends, market best practices and content consumption in different digital platforms
  • Possess good project management skills
