About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.
 

Job Responsibilities

As Group Trade Product Manager:
•    Gather and analyze data from multiple systems and data owners for management reporting and strategic initiatives. Formulate actionable insights to drive e-Penetration and improve Straight Through Processing (STP) rates.
•    Develop product commercialization strategy and coordinate product launch for Channel products globally which include but not limited to product program, regulatory clearance, internal/external communications & marketing collateral. Drive and provide support for all aspects of the product marketing plan e.g. customer targeting, positioning
•    Obtain insights of customer’s behaviors, identify pain points for improvements and potential cross sell opportunities. Build and maintain customer databases to be used for analytics, campaign tracking, and management reports.
•    Working closely with IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Operations to define product requirements and ensure the integrity of final delivered solutions, processes and documentation.
•    Ensuring clear understanding of our product capabilities across various customer touch-points, including sales, relationship managers, call center, implementation, etc., through proactive communications program, internal workshops, seminars, etc.
•    P&L responsibility for Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and Trade products with responsibility for growth and profitability of FSCM
•    Responsible for the FSCM and Trade Product Programs, to ensure that these are maintained and updated in a timely manner in accordance with UOBS Product Program and local regulatory and legal requirements, working directly with key stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations).
•    Serving as nodal point for the roll-out of multi-country programs working closely with clients and internal stakeholders across implementation, technology, supplier onboarding teams, credit etc. across countries; Implementing Trade and FSCM product initiatives, including technology platforms.
•    Ongoing responsibility for management controls for Trade and FSCM products in ASEAN to ensure adherence with product programs and Group product standards.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years and above of relevant Trade Product Management and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) experience
  • Product commercialization strategy and product launch
  • Degree qualified
  • Proficient in excel and power point
  • Able to draft product program, sop and business requirement
