About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Head of Planning and Performance Head with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead the planning and performance management of the Technology and Operation functions in Group Retail Banking and Channels T&O (GRCTO). You will be expected to collaborate with leaders of GRCTO in setting and driving organization strategy, goals, operating plans and hiring needs, and drive strategic work plans to deliver operational excellence and efficiency.



  • Oversee the Group Retail Operations functions for Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China
  • Lead the planning and management of financial expenses of GRCTO’s Business Portfolio
  • Shape the communications framework and manage internal stakeholders towards collaboration, alignment and improved decision-making
  • Drive strategic work plans so as to deliver operational efficiencies
  • Champion a data-driven culture in Group Retail Operations and develop data analytic capabilities
  • Create and manage performance metrics/reports/dashboards for management and business review
  • Establish, review and standardize key processes to drive efficiency, achieve synergies, remove risk and effectively manage cost across Group Retail Operations
  • Champion special initiatives that support the functions of GRCTO and its business partners such as enabling work-from-home

Job Requirements

  • 15-20 years of relevant, leadership experience at a senior level in the banking and financial services industry
  • In-depth knowledge and experience within different business functions, such as operations and technology
  • A proven track record of leading and developing teams
  • A strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Comfortable managing in an ambiguous environment when required
