About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.


Business Banking

We develop integrated products and services targeted at helping small and medium-sized enterprises across the region progress through different stages of growth. These include innovative solutions and initiatives in areas of working capital loans, operational efficiency and currency exposure.

Job Responsibilities

Cross-Sell or Up-Sell 
•Proactive outbound calling to existing to customers to introduce and promote suite of Business Banking products and services 
•Right cross-sell of products basis profiling and engagement.
•Sales across all product segments- Business loans, Deposit, Cards etc.
•Leads triggered through portfolio Team with outbound call efforts to cross sell / up-sell Bank’s products and services to customers 
•Referrals to sales channels for follow ups and ensure closure of leads 

Interaction Quality 
•Complete and accurate capture of call interactions, including profiling thereby aiding relationship management.
•Achieve Quality benchmarks defined from time to time

Campaign Hotline management 
•Provide information to new product or services through campaign driven initiatives to customers by outbound call efforts 
•Reinforcement call to customer to inform and activate interest on campaign

Market Intelligence 
•To initiate customer service call to customers and gather information from focus customer segment and groups 
•Leverage on every outbound call to fact-find and be the resource channel for Business 

Anti-Attrition (Triggered Leads) 
•Initiate service calls to re-active existing to products or existing to Bank customers for the anti-attrition purpose through triggered leads provided by Portfolio Team.

Customer Engagement
•Continuous engagement with the High Value customers mapped
•Call handling to existing and new to bank customers
•Accurate resolution for customer queries.
•Profiling of customers in order to aid right cross-servicing of Bank products
•Regular interactions with the customers and pro-actively assessing customer needs.
•Deepening relationship by cross selling 'sticky products' like Bizsmart etc.
•Ensure retention of customers

Achievement of portfolio parameters
•Meet the defined objectives of the Portfolio managed by the respective VRM.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Able to take initiative, and have the ability to multitask and think on jobfeet
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Driven, with a passion for numbers to drive sales
  • Enjoys speaking and interacting with people


  • Minimum a recognised degree in a relevant field
