About the Department

Analytics Support team is part of a wider Risk and Decision Management (R&DM) Division that is responsible for Risk/ Basel models implementation and enabling roll-out and tools via Quarterly Change Request (QR)  & Data management for UOB’s Group Retail Bank, which covers exposures to consumers (Personal Financial Services (“PFS”), retail Small and Medium Enterprises (Business Banking (“BB”)), and Private Banking (“PB”) customers. 
Specifically, the division acts as an analytics function of Group Retail segment, to drive decision making based on value analytics throughout the customer value chain.

Job Responsibilities

“Analytics Support & Decision Management Solution” team has been set up to execute the initiatives to (1) equip R&DM team members with the right tools, e.g. analytics tool, data, infrastructure, and (2) support the enabling of analytics to the users within Group Retail segment.
In this role, the project team member anchor to manage Quarterly Change Requests delivery and enable Data management & tools for R&DM analytics  BAU and projects.  On project basis, he/she will participate & guide the assigned Singapore data-mart/ SAS /risk models initiatives for PFS & PB.


Key Responsibilities
• Provide support to the Head of Analytics Support & DMS team on the development of the infrastructure framework within R&DM, for the areas related to the Quarterly Change Requests and Data / data-mart management
• Deliver Quarterly Change Requests (QR) for R&DM
> Responsible for managing the function R&DM change requests via Quarterly Change Request (QR) boat size and Group Retail Demand Management RCAB prioritization, for Singapore and regional subsidiaries.
> Drive change requests requirements, business analysis on problem statement, use case and benefits for CR RCAB prioritization
> Responsible for delivery and complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Singapore’s Quarterly CRs.
> Manage stakeholders / buy-in process for R&DM Head and Group Retail Demand RCAB prioritization. 
• Enable R&DM on tools and data for analytics
> Deliver the weekly / monthly regular refresh of R&DM internal SAS data-mart assigned for SG
> Support Data Management Team Lead for data management /projects on business analysis of business problems, use cases on data mart, SAS data sets automation jobs and Qlik admin support for SG 
• Provide assignment basis support (as ‘Group role’) to the regional team for Quarterly CR and Data management
• Provide regular updates to Head of R&DM Analytics Support & DMS, Head of R&DM and senior management on key developments and issues
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant program. 
• Experience and proficiency in tools such as SQL, Relational Database, SAS datasets and experience in Credit Decision Analytical Data Management will be preferred.
• Strong Business Analyst experience and able to do process mapping of business requirements and data /tools enablers required.
• 4 to 6 plus years’ related experience in retail credit portfolio, data management. Consulting and risk vendor experiences will also be considered
• Project management e.g. planning, progress tracking and reporting, risk / issues log management, will be an added advantage
• Exposure to IT systems and implementation projects
> An appreciation of the System Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies
> Able to assess upstream and downstream impact from changes
> Able to perform business analysis, business process mapping and user requirements gathering.
> Able to create the User Acceptance Test (UAT) test plan and complete UAT 
• Strong analytical skills
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Able to interact effectively with a diverse group of people, e.g. business users, technical people and vendor
• Self-starter, able to function with minimal supervision and to perform in a non-structured environment
• Be able to find a balance of business and technical work
• Experience in Java or Business Rules Engine code development will be a plus
• Knowledge / experience in implementing of Machine Learning (ML) /Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven solution for Credit Underwriting processing and Data Analytics will be a plus
