About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

 

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

The role is a part of UOB Digital Banking marketing team, and will be integral in driving growth, conversion and engagement targets of UOB TMRW Banking app.  

This individual should have a strong understanding of digital banking and payments landscape. He / She will utilize consumer insights to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns and programs to achieve agreed marketing and business objectives for UOB TMRW Banking app.

He / She should be skilled at optimising the effectiveness of campaign planning and execution through Paid, Owned & Earned media channels. Experience in performance marketing and formulating the right communications to effectively reach different target segments is crucial to optimise marketing performance of campaigns.

RESPONSIBLITIES
1.    Develop and execute high impact strategic and tactical marketing campaigns for UOB TMRW to meet yearly business targets.
2.    Work closely with key stakeholders to:
•    Develop and sustain a cohesive marketing strategy and road map development to drive brand awareness, engage key audience and build segment affinity and loyalty.
•    Create and manage campaigns for product-led, platform promotions and activities to drive KPIs such as brand awareness, SOV, engagement and acquisition.
•    Ensure quality output with effective execution of all marketing campaigns and materials.
•    Ensure adherence to all regulatory and audit requirements for all pieces of work covered by staff and team.
•    Closely track, analyze and report performance of all marketing campaigns to ensure results are on track, to identify the problems/issues and recommend solutions to rectify them.
3.    Manage creative development and strategic use of bank-owned, digital and social platforms.
4.    Manage the day-to-day relationships with agency partners and vendors, to ensure marketing communications adhere to brand strategy and requirements, while keeping to project deadlines. 
5.    Digital & Social Media knowledge is essential – with experience in using these platforms for branding, engagement and acquisition purposes; with strong tracking and analysis capabilities. 
 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business or Marketing with at least 8 years’ digital marketing experience preferably in a tech, eCommerce or Financial Institution with proven track record of hands-on experience in marketing campaigns for app products
  • Experience in marketing and data tools a plus (e.g. Google & Adobe Suite, FB Business Manager, Appsflyer etc)
  • Passionate in driving results with a growth hacking mentality and strong ability to develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies.
  • He/She must have the ability to grasp and display an understanding of consumer motivations and insights, the evolving social and digital landscape. 
  • Strong branding/design sense with business acumen and able to express opinions on creative work.
  • Positive and energetic team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams and cross functions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Independent and strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing business needs and challenges.
