About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

 

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate is required to lead a team of business development managers to acquire in the corporate space and manage regional strategic alliances forged with global banks like US Bancorp and Bank of America.  

More specifically:-
•    Manage a team to establish, drive and cross sell our commercial credit payment solutions through solution based pitching in the Corporate/MNC credit space.
•    Strategize to increase footprint of UOB commercial card alliances to exponentially grow our volume across UOB’s regional markets. 
•    Manage and acquire new bank alliances to drive deeper penetration of card adoption and maintain market leadership. 
•    In partnership with both internal and external partners to drive all corporate related activities such as T&E and B2B spend on cards.
•    Self-motivated leader must be able to mentor and train the team in solution pitching and must have the aptitude to understand end-to-end processes and respective policies. 
•    Effective management of a strong sales pipeline; timely and accurate sales tracking for monthly reporting 
•    Observe and adhere to organization regulatory compliance

Job Requirements

•    With minimum 5 years of sales lead experience, preferably in the Commercial Cards or Commercial/Corporate Bank
•    Possess strong integrity with self-motivated attitude to achieve excellent result
•    Passion for payment products especially in the banking and fin-tech space
•    Confidence and ability to influence, strong team player who has what it takes to excel in high dynamic and fast-paced environment
•    Excellent command of English, in both verbal and writing
•    High proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoints and Words etc.
